Documentation of a year-long sculpture exhibition in a converted warehouse gallery.
A long-form documentation project covering twelve months of a single sculpture exhibition. Eight artists, one space, fifty visits — the goal was to capture the gallery's rhythm rather than its content.
THE PROCESS
The room is the artwork.
Each artist had three months in the gallery. We photographed the space in the week before each installation, the day after each opening, and once during the dead middle of each show. The series became as much about the gallery's ceiling as about any of the sculptures within.
